Basis has codified expertise from experienced startup finance operators into a strategic finance platform to make it easy for non-finance professionals to generate planning forecasts for finance, hiring, revenue, and operations even for the most complicated businesses. Growing companies at all stages are using Basis to create budgets, monitor burn, track advanced metrics, build dashboards, and generate reports.

We are looking for our first sales hire to help develop the sales process for our initial go-to-market push. You will report to our CEO and work closely with our marketing lead and outbound team to develop a sales motion that we can turn into a repeatable process. This is a great opportunity for a sales manager or account executive that wants to build out a sales function at an early stage startup.

You will:

  • Partner with our “founder sales” CEO to develop a repeatable sales process
  • Hire and manage a sales team once we have a proven process
  • Train and manage the sales team to ensure that we consistently meet or exceed monthly sales quotas

You have:

  • 2+ years of SaaS sales experience as an Account Executive in a quota-carrying capacity
  • Prior BDR experience or experience sourcing your own business via outbound
  • Familiarity with accounting, audit, or finance (through academic courses, professional experience, or selling into finance personas)
  • Work authorization in the United States
